Founded in 1984, the Society of Will Writers has grown to become the largest and the leading self-regulatory body governing Will Writers and Estate Planners. They currently have around 1,700 members across the U.K., Europe and further afield.
A non-profit making self-regulatory organisation, their primary objectives are the advancement, education and ethical standards within the will writing profession.
The Society has two main tasks –
To promote to the public at large the real need and sense in having a valid will.
To act as a self-regulatory body by vetting practitioners through stringent membership requirements, proficiency standards and ongoing training.
